Time to head back 'home'...being the apartment in Besancon.
The plan was to be at breakfast by 0700, on the road by 0730. Well, make it a half hour later for each of the previous times, and I'm off. The profile shows some climbing, but overall, it's 'downhill' from here.
About 50 miles (+/-) for the day. Not a whole lot to write...I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Made it home in 3.5 hours. Cleaned up, started laundry, hung out the camping gear to dry and started to grill a 'steak' dinner. I say 'steak' because it's not quite like Nebraska beef, but still good. Nice to be home...best part...JEN!!!

Back at the apartment...I cannot get my bike in the elevator, so I have to throw my gear in and send it to the 5th floor. Then I carry my bike up 10 short flights of stairs...the joy of apartment living in France |
